Order Fulfillment Policy

​I. Shipping Terms​

  1. ​Delivery Timeline​
    • Orders will be dispatched within 15 working day after all terms and conditions are met. Prices include packaging, transportation, and shipping fees（FOB Shenzhen）.
    • Legal Basis: Complies with Article 15 of the ​Electronic Commerce Law of the People’s Republic of China​ regarding logistics timeliness.
  2. ​Tariffs and Duties​
    • Import duties, value-added tax (VAT), and other taxes (e.g., customs duties) shall be borne by the customer in accordance with destination country regulations.
    • Compliance Note: Refer to ​Article 2 of the Import and Export Tariff Regulations of the People’s Republic of China.
  3. ​Documentation Requirements​
    • Cross-border orders must include a Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin.
    • Legal Support: Based on the ​Announcement on the List of Cross-Border E-commerce Retail Imported Commodities​ issued by China Customs.

​II. Taxation Terms​

  1. ​**Value-Added Tax (VAT)**​
    • Exported goods originating from China are subject to a zero VAT rate under ​Article 10 of the Provisional Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Value-Added Tax.
    • VAT will be collected by the importing country according to its local laws.
  2. ​Tax Refund Mechanism​
    • Exporters may apply for VAT refunds using export declaration documents and VAT special invoices (Circular on Issues Concerning VAT and Consumption Tax Policies for Exported Goods).

​III. Order Modification and Cancellation​

  1. ​Procedure​
    • Requests to cancel or modify an order must be submitted to sales@geotechcn.net within 48 hours before dispatch, specifying the order ID and reason.
    • Legal Compliance: Adheres to ​Article 26 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China​ regarding consumer rights to information.
  2. ​Exceptions​
    • Orders involving advance payments and pre-issued Packing Slips are non-modifiable.

​IV. Refund Policy​

  1. ​Eligibility​
    • Refunds apply to orders canceled/premodified before dispatch, unfulfilled orders, or damaged/wrongly delivered goods (with photographic evidence).
  2. ​Processing Fees​
    • Third-party payment platforms (e.g., Alipay, WeChat Pay): 2% refund fee per order amount (Article 16 of the Non-Bank Payment Institutions Network Payment Business Management Measures).
    • Bank transfers: No processing fees.

​V. Damaged/Defective Goods Handling​

  1. ​Complaint Process​
    • Notify service@geotechcn.net within 72 hours of receipt, attaching the order ID, photographs, and return shipping details.
    • Legal Basis: Refer to ​Supplementary Provisions of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China​ (Article 24) for defective goods.
  2. ​Return Address​
    • Geotech Instrument Co., Ltd.

    • Note: Shipping labels must indicate “Return for Replacement/Refund.”
  3. ​Exchange Policy​
    • Exchanges are only provided for damaged/wrongly delivered goods. Shipping costs for replacements will be borne by us.
    • Exceptions: Human-caused damages or customer negligence invalidate exchange eligibility.

​VI. Documentation​

  1. ​Order Confirmation​
    • An Order Confirmation email is sent to the registered customer address (non-tax invoice).
  2. ​Formal Invoices​
    • A Proforma Invoice is emailed within 10 working days after dispatch.
    • ​VAT Special Invoice: Issued in duplicate with the shipment, complying with ​Article 8 of the Provisional Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Value-Added Tax.
  1. ​Severability​
    • Invalid clauses do not affect the enforceability of remaining provisions (Article 127 of the Contract Law of the People’s Republic of China).
  2. ​Dispute Resolution​
    • Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration under UNCITRAL Rules by the ​China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
  3. ​Policy Updates​
    • Amendments to this policy will be published on https://geotechcn.net/policy and notified via email.
